Now is the time to step up your game! Now is the time to step up your game. This is no longer a drill, we have the Corona Virus on our doorstep and now more than ever we need to be focussing on creating a mindset which is realistic but doesn’t buy into the hysteria. It’s about being safe and recognising what you can and can’t control. You can only control you!!Even today switching on the news Boris Johnson was diagnosed with Corona Virus. I’m writing this blog on the 27th of March 2020. Even though we have all been given the advice to stay safe, our Prime Minister here in the UK has still contracted the virus. This leads me to the one thing that can give you certainty in times of uncertainty. You can only control you!! Nothing else, it’s all about discipline and self-control. No longer can we rely on the outside to provide us with certainty because all of that was an illusion and this virus has now brought us into that reality. We can control the way we respond to this global emergency. So to create certainty we need to focus on ourselves and what we can control. We can control the way we respond to this global emergency. We can control our response to our health by making sure we eat in balanced ways (although sometimes it’s okay to get off track, just make sure you get back on again) More than ever the signs are here that we need to be calm and that means, watching our thoughts and language and not reacting to situations in our lives which will create even more emotional turmoil. There is already enough of that in the world, we have to contribute to the world in very positive ways by setting the example of how we respond to the crisis which is on our doorstep right now! Every single one of us has a duty to step up.We need to first take care of ourselves by honouring the safety guidelines of social distancing etc. We need to step up and help each other by offering kind words so we can help others create a reality of kindness in a world which has needed it for a long time. In times of adversity like this it shows that people do step up, people are digging in and helping one another. Sure, some bad things are happening but I’m seeing great examples of kindness. Even this week our local community clapped to support our NHS workers who are keeping our health care going. My wife got some supplies from our cupboards and gave them to a neighbour in need! This would never have happened had the virus not taken hold. I know for sure this is happening all over the UK! The virus is teaching us lessons, to point out that our lives are fragile So the virus is teaching us lessons, to point out that our lives are fragile and that our systems have floors and are easily broken. As a result, we’re creating new systems, we're adapting, we’re innovating and with all these massive changes certainty is being created, the whole direction is to provide that certainty and it all starts with you. You create it inside, all these ideas that are now being executed started in someone’s mind and that’s how things get solved, that’s how certainty gets created. It all starts with our mindset and from that mindset, we start to create the world we want around us. Can you now see that it all starts with our thoughts, it all starts with our mindset and from that mindset, we start to create the world we want around us. Yes it’s difficult but through these difficult times better systems will emerge, more compassion will be born and people will now help each other more than ever. By you reading this blog and taking one action to help someone else provides more certainty for you as well as the person you give that help to. You are the solution, everyone is the solution we just have to keep spreading that message that everyone counts at this time. No matter what your status is, you can contribute, you can start to create a reality within you that you can then share into the world. The crazy thing is that you’ve always had this power to create certaintyYou may have an idea to start to make the planet a better place and from a place of amazing intention. The crazy thing is that you’ve always had this power to create certainty and for some of you it’s taken this event to bring that out of you. Never forget that, even when this is over you’ll never go back to the old you, you’ll have changed and the world will have changed forever through this crisis, I believe or the better. I see this as an opportunity to reset your mindset.I see this as an opportunity to reset your mindset. I know every day I see it as a challenge to myself to respond to things around me. Yes, I’m keeping informed but I refuse to react to the panic if I see it. I’ll take a deep breath and think what’s the lesson I’m learning here? How can I respond in a way that helps me and others to start to create this world of more certainty? Granted we will never have a 100% certainty in the world but you can be grounded in certainty through your mindset, that you will be certain to respond in ways that will serve others and strengthen you. So be the example you want to see in the worldSo be the example you want to see in the world, now more than ever Gandhi's words never ran truer than they have today. Over the next few months, stories of greatness are going to emerge and they’re going to inspire others why not you? I’m writing this blog and if it just helps one person become more certain in a world which is attempting to breed uncertainty I would have done my job. I see you as the solution.I see you as the solution. We all have to come together at this time, use our mindsets for the good of humanity! So what are you waiting for go out there and inspire others, share the message. I believe in you, so go lead an inspired life! Start by leaving comments here and sharing this blog because that will be the start of creating something special and give more hope to people that they can create certainty for themselves in a time of uncertainty. Let’s go, as you are part of an amazing community. Until next time stay inspired! #InspirationNation
