Creating goals and placing them in order of importance
To create your goal you really need find out what fires your passion. It may be that your current role provides some passion but you need another element. Well look to your passion to see what might be missing. For some of you you may wish to increase your financial wealth, again you can use your passion to find the goal you want to achieve. If you could increase your wealth by using your passion how happy would you be? It may be that you want to help people achieve their goals like me, that is why I started this website. My first thought was, what first step could I take? Well I went to a coaching weekend and never looked back. You can do exactly the same.
To start you need to choose a goal which is SMART, That is Specific (what is it exactly you want to do), Measured (you can measure how you are moving toward your goal) Agreed (this is something which you know internally that you want to do) and Timebound ( you give yourself a date as to when you will achieve it). So you may have one large goal but you may need to break it down into smaller parts to accomplish the big picture, you could think of it as your own personal jig saw. What an adventure you will have. Breaking down your smaller goals and placing them in order if importance is another stage as detailed below.
So the goal could be I would like to increase my financial wealth, you could then break this into smaller goals as below which are SMART. These smaller goals also make it easier to take action so you can start to get results. They also push you outside your comfort zone and help you challenge barriers you may be putting in the way.

If you do what you have always done you get what you have always got" Setting a plan of action is vital and this is where coaching can assist you.
