Luck is a skill! Another week and the project is still in full swing! If you’ve read my previous blogs you will know this is the theme so if you haven’t go and read the previous three weeks to catch up! Anyway, we are near the end of the project only two weeks left after today so the big countdown has begun. I have been working super hard to make sure things stay on track and I just wanted to reference Simon Squibb’s quote that luck is a skill! It comes through effort, the more risk you take the luckier you can get, of course, you have to minimise the downside but increasing your luck which I agree is a skill is that you have to take a risk, you have to put yourself out there. This project I’m working on is a risk a big risk in terms of what I do in my day to day the whole thing has been challenging and this week I caught a break! It was awesome we were given a helping hand and got a boost! What this meant is that it would be less intense at the end of the project but there is still a lot of work to do. Keep going don’t slack off make the most of it and capitalise on your good luck So how did I create luck I hear you cry? I can’t tell you exactly why, but what I can say is that I did ask for some help from the universe and it was answered, I’ve asked for courage and strength to get through it and I have just continued even though I didn’t feel like it. That’s where it came from, my sheer effort, and it’s just that I got rewarded with this awesome little bonus, it made me feel great, so what does this mean? It means I don’t stop, it means that I still keep working and this is what I’m saying to you. If you get that luck build on the momentum, keep going don’t slack off make the most of it and capitalise on your good luck. Before I may have taken my foot off the pedal but I have learned that’s when you get burned! Don’t do that! As Simon Squibb (the self made millionaire) says to get skilful at luck you need to know where you’re going, you need to be persistent and you need to take risksAs Simon Squibb says (the self made millionaire) to get skilful at luck you need to know where you’re going, you need to be persistent and you need to take risks, so I’m testing this in the field. I know where I’m going with the project I’m being persistent and consistent with my action which has increased my skill capacity to take risks and to put myself out there. Yes, it’s a little easier but this is still a massive challenge and the end of the project is the big test and I want to be ready. So all this effort is my training. Will it be enough who knows? All I can do is prepare, put in the work, recognise what I can and can’t control and go with it. Make sure I do all I can to make it happen and I’m sure it will work out. If you want to succeed you have to be brave enough to failThis is my final message to you in this blog, if you want to succeed you have to be brave enough to fail and that’s what I’m doing, I’m all in and if I fail or succeed what I know is whatever the outcome I would have done all I can to make this happen. I want this to inspire you, so let me know. If you enjoyed this please share and let’s inspire the world together!
