I felt heavy and not engagedEnjoy those moments! At the moment I just feel happy, it’s a Friday I finished work on time, I recorded all my Inspiration Nation daily videos helped some people out what else could I want. When we help people and feel we had a productive day that’s when we have the best chance to have those happy moments. It’s so funny because only three days ago, I felt heavy and not engaged, to do work felt like a chore apart from my Inspiration Nation videos. Through that, I recognise that it’s the inspiration that keeps me going and also feeling productive. Identifying that things I do matter and help people also really keeps me on point! So what happened this week? I’m coming to the end of my super hard project and now it’s crunch time as to whether I have succeeded. The key to all this is that I’ve done the work and now it’s all about the refinement of those pieces of work. This means that putting in the effort at the early stages pays off at the end, front-loading your effort so you can enjoy the fruits of your labour as they say. Because I felt nervous I just had to attend that meeting I had a meeting today and I was super nervous because we were going to discuss an aspect of the project, but because I felt nervous I just had to attend that meeting! Now the meeting was not compulsory as it was a check-in about some of the content, but because I felt nervous and fearful I had to jump into that meeting to face down that fear and to show up. Guess what happened? I developed some great relationships and when we all compared notes we were all on a similar page so it reinforced that I was on the right lines and so I felt content and happy and things were going in the right direction! What I’m trying to say here is that even though it looks as though this is all going to be a success, never take this for granted This doesn’t mean it’s all done and dusted, because as part of the final project we have to support our leaders in terms of watching them present back then we are then playing back some key highlights of their journey. it’s a supportive process, what I’m trying to say here is that even though it looks as though this is all going to be a success, never take this for granted you need to make sure that you dot the i’s and cross the t’s! So I have been refining my content and have also been revising my presentation to make sure it’s the best it can be. This has meant me presenting it to family members, timing the content and refining it as I go! The signal is that when you think you are just about to succeed don’t slow downWhat does all this mean? I’m just maximising my chances of success I don’t want to leave anything to chance. The signal is that when you think you are just about to succeed don’t slow down, make sure you have all your ducks in a row, make sure everything is covered off! What you don’t want is any last-minute surprises no matter what people say, stay vigilant, focus on quality and because it’s got your name on it, make it the best it can be because that is a reflection of your character.
So enjoy those happy moments but use that energy to make sure everything is done dusted and then bask in the glory of your success! I’m still waiting and I will be honest and let you know if this project was a success. Stay tuned and until next time stay inspired!
