It’s a conversation where people can be vulnerable without the fear of being judged Conversation is an art, the way I see it’s two people engaging in a conversation that matters. It’s a conversation where people can be vulnerable without the fear of being judged or made to feel bad because they feel that have failed in some way. It’s about really connecting with the other person genuinely to help them feel listened too and appreciated for their point of view and even if we don’t agree we can do that with compassion by really trying to understand why they hold that perspective. I want to help people with their challenges and want to be able to create a space within that conversation where they can feel safe to be vulnerable For me conversations about self-development really hold my attention, I want to help people with their challenges and want to be able to create a space within that conversation where they can feel safe to be vulnerable so they can explore their challenges and fears. I also want that for myself so in reality, it’s a reflection of my own needs too. Giving someone space to articulate their thoughts so they can get them out and examine them, to really explore to find a way forward and generate solutions to their challenges. It’s giving someone energy, the energy so they can create belief and confidence in themselves through really thoughtful questions from the person who’s listening. It’s really like a dance where it naturally goes back and forth and the conversation just flows and time flies when you have a great conversation that has meaning, you lose track of the time that means you are in the flow. Have you ever experienced a time when you’re explaining something and the other person barely acknowledges what you’re saying and instead talks about themselves? |
