I took the above picture when going out on one of my early morning runs; it would not have been possible had I listened to my mind!
_________________________________________________ Right, you have made a plan to start achieving and started doing it, though you look at the results and think, "wow I haven’t made much progress here!" Have you heard your mind saying this to you before? I know I have! Over the last three months I have been experimenting on myself, by making myself do things that my mind resists. For example I have been getting up at around 5AM each morning and have followed a routine. The routine looks a bit like this:
I do have a little theory around this and it’s this. Your mind wants to have the easiest life possible, it wants the results with none of the work! This is what you have to realise, if you want results you have to take action, so don’t listen to your mind when it offers a solution which is easy. For me my mind says, “stay in bed for another 10 minutes, then get up it will be okay.” Then before you know it I will be in bed for an hour and miss my window. What I love about getting up early is that it’s quiet and I can get the things done I need to get done, I am living my passion by helping people. So I hope this has helped you in some way, please comment and let me know below. Perhaps you are trying to create a new habit or break one which is not serving you? Let me know; until next time #inspirationnation
