Our own personal growth is very important, because I believe that we are designed to make progress on a personal level so we have meaning in our lives. If we don’t progress then the feelings of what is this life all about can creep in and that’s what happened to me when I suffered from my depression. If you have been following me then you would know my journey into and out of depression so I am not going to repeat myself here.
This is why I am on a mission to wake people up from their everyday lives and for you to know that you do matter, you have a special gift that you need to share with the world. The reason you haven’t is probably because you have haven’t discovered it or are scared of what people will think! Remember you are you; there is no one else like you on this entire planet and when you’re gone there will not be another you; so you need to make sure you live a life of purpose and passion. Squeeze all the experience you can out of life, as we have an ultimate dead line that no one can escape which is the end of our lives. Death is what should be driving you to live a life of purpose and meaning, so your personal growth is vital; and to grow you need to step out of your safety areas and go and experience life. Go and do that thing which is scary to you, whatever it is; face it down and then share with people what that felt like. Be an example to others that you have stepped into your fear and that it’s also okay to fail. Failure is feedback and again failure is something that makes us grow and develop, without it life would not be a challenge and then what would we strive for. This lack of challenge sits exactly in your comfort zone and this is what life tries to do, it want to wake you up by giving you a challenge, so when it does step into it, because this is when you will grow. I don’t want you to look back on your life and think what if I had done this or that, I want you to look back and say I gave it my best shot! One of the great ways to see if you are living in your comfort zone is to imagine you are on your death bed; what would you be thinking right now? Did you live the kind of life you wanted to live? So here are a couple of things to try: 1 - Imagine you are on your death bed and you are telling your story, what does that look, feel or sound like today? 2 - So you have done number one, great! So now you have a massive chance to change it! What would you change now to live a life that would make you proud? (Remember you are not doing this for others you are doing this for you!) 3 - Make a plan and step into one thing you fear today! Let me know how you get on; I want you to live an inspired life so go do it and comment below about what you have done!

I've knocked on deaths door and boy did it reformat my life. It caused me to look at things in a way I had up to that point. Throughout my own healing and growth, I keep standing up to the fears and going through them. Great blog post here that you have written. I'll definitely add it to my list of blogs to check.
